The canaries have not awaken
Hello!
This blog is just getting started. I plan on using this platform to document knowledge gained through my job and side projects. I'm a cybersecurity engineer with a primary emphasis on offensive security.
Why the blog ? - I've always wanted a medium to document my learning process and perhaps inform others along the way. The goal of this blog is twofold: 1) document my learning process and 2) structure it in a way that others can benefit from that process.
It'll be a living "self-development" place that'll house lessons learned, new techniques discovered, emulation of TTPs utilized by threat actors, and. More importantly, this is a medium that'll force me to explain the "whys" behind the technical concepts. The goal is to capture the "why is this so" questions and to both enhance mine and your understanding of the topics. You can expect topics such as:
- Dissecting offensive techniques and underlying concepts. Why stop at one language? Let's cover a few (primarily in c/c++ and eyeing rust)
- Latest offensive security news, repositories of interest, and my personal opinion (if any) on those topics.
- Breakdown of legitimate TTPs leveraged by threat actors and running them through a simulated environment
- Walkthroughs for noticeable cybersecurity events (such as Kringlecon).
- Technical Breakdown of topics/articles published within the cybersecurity community
Disclosure: I am not responsible for what you do with this information. I do not support illegal cybersecurity activities. The information on this blog is presented so that "white hat hackers" (i.e., the good folks) can better understand their craft (whilst enhancing mine - blue teamers, you are not forgotten!). You should never attempt any of the techniques/snippets listed here without explicit permission from the target organization. I will not respond to any messages whose underlying purpose is of malicious intent.
Feel free to subscribe in the meantime if you'd like to stay up to date and receive emails when new content is published!
